We have moved to an exciting new location!
After over 45 years in the same location in Maroubra, we have moved to our new home & Clubhouse, just 4km along Anzac Parade, even closer to Centennial Park, and exactly halfway between Maroubra and the city.
Today we are trading from our new location in Kensington.
It is a new location, but many things won’t change - we will continue to bring the same MC vibe, values and service excellence - but with some great enhancements, offering a new experience for Sydney’s cyclists, visitors, and of course our MC Velo members.
The new MC Clubhouse is at 108 Anzac parade, Kensington (corner of Anzac Parade and Goodwood St).
MC anchors a a new retail & residential complex (opposite Peter’s of Kensington) offering short-term street parking, and 2-hour free secure off-street underground (watch those bike racks!) parking and super convenient access to the new light rail with ES Marks station directly opposite.
During what is hopefully this final week of lockdown we’ll be getting unpacked and settled in, and operating retail click & collect and workshop service drop off and pick up.
We’ll be ready to open the doors officially on 11 October when freedom comes to NSW and we are looking to welcoming everyone back in person in line with revised guidelines and public health arrangements.
We are super excited about this new Chapter in the MC story, bringing even more to the Sydney Cycling Community.

SERVICE
When will we need to drop-off/pickup services bikes from the new location?
All bike services will need to be dropped-off and picked-up from Kensington from Tuesday 5 October (today).
If I have a bike in service, what will happen to it?
It will be serviced as per your booking schedule, and when ready will need to be picked up from Kensington. We will be in contact to confirm this for any bikes already in for service.
Is there parking available at the new store?
There is ample 2 hour secure and free underground retail car parking available at our store. There is also ample short-term street parking which can be accessed from Goodwood Street, opposite the 711 service station.
Will you continue to operate the service pick up and drop off valet?
The MC Valet will continue to operate as normal, including benefits for MC Velo members.
Will you be extending servicing to e-bikes?
The workshop has been fitted with a stand appropriate for e-bike servicing and we’ll also have more e-bikes coming into our retail sales and hire /demo ranges.
RIDES
Will regular MC rides change?
We will take the opportunity of the new location to change up regular ride routes, timings, and rendez-vous points.
We anticipate most rides starting and finishing at the Clubhouse.

This will happen once we have finalised ride dynamics and most importantly, our amazing in house coffee.
Lots of notice will be provided for changes to regular ride routes.
